About

Nancy MacLachlan
BSc.OT, OTReg(Ont.)

I have been working for over 35 years with courageous individuals who have been challenged by mental and physical health issues. My extensive work experience as an Occupational Therapist in hospitals, in community settings and in private practice has given me the privilege of working with clients during their journeys of healing. I provide counselling, coaching and education to my clients and their families with respect, integrity and confidentiality. I have worked with adults, seniors, young adults, and children in mental health and addictions and in physical rehabilitation.

My therapy approach with clients and families is client-centred and holistic. Each client will have an individualized counselling plan and it may involve a variety of modalities including:  Motivational Interviewing, CBT(Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Psychotherapy, Self Assessment, Goal Setting, Reflective exercises, and Creative Explorations.
